This entirely depends on interested clients! I would prefer to take on at least 2-3 clients to travel to a show. This is why it would be great to think in advance what shows you may want to capture and if you have any barn friends that would also like to have the same day photographed.

Most big shows employ an "official photographer" that shoots all classes and rounds. Freelance photographers typically have to apply to shoot and must have a pre-made list of clients to give to the official photographers a week or more in advance in order for them to know which rounds/riders they could avoid photographing. The sooner you let me know you are interested in this package, the better!

I require inquiries in order to quote due to the up-front costs I will have to pay to the show organizers. A typical Private Photography fee for freelancers might range from $750 - $900. My goal is always to make my services as affordable as possible, so the more clients that can split the fee, the better! 

I try to edit each night of the show to deliver most of the images in a same-day turnaround. This may vary if portrait sessions are added or editing requests are made.
